Job summary

Little Genius Day Nursery in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Room Leader to guide the Baby/Toddler/Pre-School room, while staying hands-on with children and supporting your room team to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

You will lead high-quality EYFS practice, maintain safe ratios and effective supervision, and coach practitioners while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification is essential.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding knowledge are essential.
• Experience in an early years nursery setting is essential.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Room Leader to lead high-quality practice within our [Baby/Toddler&Pre-School] Room.

You will remain hands-on with the children while leading and supporting your room team to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.

• Support planning, assessment and continuous improvement.

About You

Essential:

• Level 3+ relevant Early Years qualification.
• Early-years nursery experience.
• Good EYFS and safeguarding knowledge.
• Strong understanding of child development.
• Confidence leading and supporting a team.
• Warm, professional and child-centred approach.

Desirable:

• Room Leader/Senior Practitioner experience.
• Paediatric First Aid.
• SEND experience.
