The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or QTS), bring experience with early years, and demonstrate a positive, adaptable, and reliable approach to daily activities and safeguarding.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large 70 place nursery setting in Harrogate, easily commutable from LS6, LS16 and LS17. The nursery provides a welcoming environment for children aged 0-5, supporting their learning, development and engagement throughout the Early Years.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner for both long-term and day‑to‑day opportunities, with part‑time and full‑time hours available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the setting, helping to provide engaging activities, maintain a safe and positive environment and support children in line with the EYFS.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or QTS!
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• The ability to adapt across different nursery rooms and age groups
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
