Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is working with an 80-place nursery in Gomersal to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. This flexible role offers part-time, full-time and day-to-day hours to suit your availability.

You will support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS, creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment with engaging, age-appropriate activities. Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare is required, together with experience in a nursery setting.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting
• Ability to support children's learning through play and age-appropriate activities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an 80-place nursery based in Gomersal, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The nursery provides an environment where children can learn, play and develop their confidence through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The nursery is looking to take on a qualified Nursery Practitioner on a flexible basis, offering part-time, full-time and day-to-day opportunities to suit individual availability. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children with their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
• Ability to support children's learning through play and age-appropriate activities
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive 'can-do' attitude
