Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a part-time Nursery Practitioner in the Cardiff area to work in a welcoming early years setting. You will support children across the early years, delivering engaging play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework and helping create a safe, caring and inclusive environment where children can flourish.

The role requires at least 6 months' nursery experience and a positive, enthusiastic approach, with good communication and teamwork skills.

The setting promotes learning through play and values strong relationships with children, families and staff to create a positive early years experience.

The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time Nursery Practitioner from September. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work alongside an experienced team, supporting children across the early years, delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and helping to create a safe, caring and inclusive environment where children can flourish.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• A positive, enthusiastic and caring approach to supporting young children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and reliable attitude
