Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Nursery Practitioners for Leeds locations to support children aged 0-5 in various nursery settings. Flexible day-to-day, part-time and full-time vacancies allow you to choose your own days, while delivering engaging activities in a safe EYFS environment.

You will work across settings with a caring, enthusiastic approach, strong teamwork, and excellent communication to support learning and wellbeing of young children.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Early Years qualification desired but not essential.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 desirable.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• A caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility and a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support children across settings with engaging activities and a safe, positive environment following EYFS guidelines.
• Assist with development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities.

The settings provide a welcoming environment for children aged 0-5, with opportunities for practitioners to support children's learning, development and wellbeing throughout the Early Years.

We are for Nursery Practitioner's to support across a mixture of day-to-day, part-time and full-time vacancies, offering excellent flexibility and the opportunity to choose your own working days. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the settings, helping to provide engaging activities and a safe, positive environment while following the EYFS framework.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desired but not essential
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 desirable
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and a ‘can-do’ attitude
