TeacherActive is working with a large 70 place nursery in Harrogate, seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 0-5 across the EYFS.

The role offers flexible part-time or full-time hours, with long-term and day-to-day opportunities. You’ll help create engaging activities, keep a safe environment and adapt across rooms and age groups.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification or QTS required.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Positive, enthusiastic approach to supporting children.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the setting with engaging activities.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for all children.
• Support children in line with EYFS across age groups and rooms.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large 70 place nursery setting in Harrogate, easily commutable from LS6, LS16 and LS17. The nursery provides a welcoming environment for children aged 0-5, supporting their learning, development and engagement throughout the Early Years.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner for both long-term and day-to-day opportunities, with part-time and full-time hours available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the setting, helping to provide engaging activities, maintain a safe and positive environment and support children in line with the EYFS.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or QTS!
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 in an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• The ability to adapt across different nursery rooms and age groups
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
