GSL Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a role in Trafford Nurseries. The position is full-time or part-time temporary, with shifts around 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and roughly 40 hours per week, depending on rota.

You will support young children aged 0-5, act as Key Person, plan EYFS activities, and communicate with families. A Level 2+ NVQ/Diploma in Early Years or Childcare and safeguarding knowledge are required, along with an Enhanced DBS check.

• Experience working with ages 0-5.
• Strong EYFS understanding and safeguarding knowledge.

Salary: £14.25 - 16.83 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and energetic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Nursery team in Trafford Nurseries. In this role, you will help create a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment where young children can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, tracking their individual development and milestones.
• Plan and lead creative, engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Foster strong, positive partnerships with parents and carers through clear daily communication.
• Ensure high standards of child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, and emotional well-being at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 2+ NVQ/Diploma in Early Years or Childcare equivalent.
• Experience: Experience working in an early years setting with ages 0-5.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Enthusiastic, creative, empathetic, and a fantastic team player.
