TeacherActive Limited. is recruiting a qualified Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, full-time role in Cheadle Hulme. You will support children aged 6 weeks to 5 years with daily learning, play and care, and plan activities in line with the EYFS.

The role requires Level 2/3 EY/Childcare qualification and at least 3 months of UK nursery experience, plus strong communication and teamwork with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification.
• Minimum 3 months UK nursery experience.
• Sound knowledge of EYFS.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established private day nursery in Cheadle Hulme, providing a caring and welcoming environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The setting benefits from bright, spacious learning areas and a large secure outdoor space, with a strong focus on purposeful play, curiosity, confidence and supporting each child’s individual development.

The nursery is looking to take on a qualified Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week from November 2026. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children with their daily learning, play and care routines, plan engaging activities in line with the EYFS and work closely with colleagues and families to maintain consistently high standards of care.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• A minimum of 3 months’ experience working within a UK nursery
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring, proactive and reliable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
