Job summary

GSL Education in Salford is seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Nursery team. You will help create a safe, dynamic and nurturing environment where young children can learn, play and thrive, following EYFS guidelines.

This temporary, full- or part-time position offers around 40 hours per week with shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Salary ranges from £14.25 to £16.83 per hour, depending on experience, with ongoing training and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ages 0–5 in an early years setting.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practice in early years.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children and monitor development.
• Plan and lead engaging activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
• Communicate clearly with parents and carers about daily progress and needs.
• Maintain high standards of safety, safeguarding, hygiene and emotional wellbeing.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated, and energetic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Nursery team in Salford Nurseries. In this role, you will help create a safe, dynamic, and nurturing environment where young children can learn, play, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, tracking their individual development and milestones.
• Plan and lead creative, engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Foster strong, positive partnerships with parents and carers through clear daily communication.
• Ensure high standards of child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, and emotional well-being at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 2+ NVQ/Diploma in Early Years or Childcare equivalent.
• Experience: Experience working in an early years setting with ages 0-5.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Enthusiastic, creative, empathetic, and a fantastic team player.
