Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in the Bury area to join our Nursery team. You will support a group of children as Key Person, plan EYFS-aligned activities, and communicate daily with parents to foster strong partnerships.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, child safety, and well-being, with opportunities for training and progression. An enhanced DBS check is required prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 2+ NVQ/Diploma in Early Years or Childcare equivalent.
• Experience: Experience working in an early years setting with ages 0–5.
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Attributes: Enthusiastic, creative, empathetic, and a fantastic team player.

Position: Full-Time or Part-Time Temporary

Hours: ~40 hours per week (Monday – Friday, rotas between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

Salary: £14.25 - 16.83 per hour (dependent on experience)
