Job summary

Willing care in Romford is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to deliver high-quality care and learning experiences in line with the EYFS. You will plan activities around children's interests and developmental needs, encourage independence and imaginative play, and observe progress to support next steps.

You will work with colleagues to maintain a welcoming environment, uphold safeguarding standards, and build strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
  • Confidence supporting both individualised learning and purposeful play.
  • The ability to recognise children's interests and turn them into engaging learning opportunities.
  • A warm, nurturing and responsive approach.
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Job description

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing
  • All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and verification of the right to work in the UK, in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
