Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, responsive, high-quality care throughout the nursery day.
  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS-aligned activities.
  • Utilise bright spaces and playrooms for exploration and learning.
  • Support personal care, routines and emotional wellbeing of children.

Nursery Practitioner – Level 2 or Level 3

£30,700–£31,800 per year | 40 Hours per Week

A fresh environment, newly refurbished spaces and the opportunity to be part of a nursery as it welcomes children and families back through its doors.

Following an exciting programme of refurbishment, this nursery is preparing to reopen very soon, creating a great opportunity for a Nursery Practitioner to join the team at the beginning of its next chapter. The setting benefits from bright, spacious learning environments and large playrooms, giving children plenty of room to explore, create and learn through play.

Outside, a large garden extends the learning environment even further, offering space for active play, discovery and plenty of fresh‑air adventures.

We're looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who can bring warmth, enthusiasm and strong Early Years practice to the setting as the nursery reopens.

  • Full and relevant
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Confidence planning engaging experiences around children's interests and developmental needs.
  • Ability to create warm, secure relationships with children.
  • An enthusiastic approach to both indoor and outdoor learning.

  • A caring, positive and collaborative approach to Early Years practice.

  • Maintain excellent standards of safeguarding, welfare and health and safety.
