Job summary

Willingcare in Rickmansworth, United Kingdom, is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join an outstanding setting. The role is 40 hours per week with a salary of £29,900 per annum.

You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework, plan activities based on children’s interests, observe development, and work closely with families to support every child’s learning journey.

Qualifications

  • Possess Level 3 Early Years qualification and nursery experience.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

£29,900 per annum | 40 Hours per Week

This is an outstanding setting built around a child‑led approach, encouraging children to follow their interests, develop confidence, and learn through meaningful play experiences. Practitioners are given the time and support to create engaging learning opportunities that help children thrive while building strong relationships with families.

The nursery's impressive outdoor environment is a key part of daily life. Children benefit from a large outdoor play area complete with a sandpit, mud kitchen, climbing frame, and plenty of open space for exploration, adventure, and imaginative play. Outdoor learning is fully integrated into the curriculum, helping children develop confidence, resilience, and a love of discovery.

This role is ideal for a passionate early years professional who enjoys supporting children's development in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
