Job summary

Willingcare is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly, supportive team caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years in a home-from-home environment.

The role offers 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days, with a strong focus on the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child development. DBS checks and references apply.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Caring, nurturing, and child-centred approach to childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Plan and participate in engaging activities supporting learning and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Create a safe, stimulating environment where children can thrive.
  • Observe, assess, and support children's learning journeys.
  • Promote development across emotional, social, physical, and cognitive areas.
  • Collaborate with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care.
  • Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

£28,000 per annum | 40 Hours Per Week | 4 or 5 Days Per Week

We’re on the lookout for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our client’s friendly and supportive team. Caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years, the nursery has created a genuine home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to develop at their own pace.

With a strong focus on nurturing relationships, learning through play, and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit team that is dedicated to giving every child the very best start in life.

Offering a choice of working 40 hours across 4 or 5 days, the role also provides flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.

What We’re Looking For
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A caring, nurturing, and child-centred approach to childcare
