Job summary

Willingcare Ascot is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Good Ofsted-rated nursery where outdoor learning is central to every day. The role offers £29,900 per annum, 40 hours per week, and a supportive team dedicated to high-quality early years education.

You will deliver care and education in line with EYFS, plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities, observe development, and build positive relationships with children and families while upholding safeguarding and nursery

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A nurturing and child-centred approach

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and support engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences
• Encourage children’s confidence, curiosity, and independence
• Make full use of the nursery’s outdoor spaces, including the forest area, mud kitchen, and sandpit
• Observe, assess, and monitor children’s development and progress
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times
