Job summary

Willing Recruitment is assisting an Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery in the Catford area to recruit an enthusiastic Early Years practitioner. The role offers a 40-hour contract with the option to work across 4 days, ensuring consistent care for children.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent, with solid EYFS knowledge and safeguarding understanding. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to thrive in this warm, nurturing environment.

• Create a safe, stimulating, inclusive environment for every child.
• Maintain high safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery practices.
• Work with the team to provide exceptional early years education and care.

£27,000–£30,800 per year | 40 Hours per Week (4 Days Considered) | Level 3 | Permanent

The nursery can offer a 40-hour contract, with the option to work this across 4 days, providing flexibility while still ensuring consistency for the children. Flexibility across the working week is essential.

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within an early years setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
• A warm, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive.
• Flexibility to work across the week when required.
