Job summary

A nursery practitioner role at Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Sutton Coldfield offers a full-time position with a salary of up to £27,100 per annum and a 40-hour week. You'll deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework, plan engaging learning experiences, and make the most of outdoor spaces to support children's development.

Applicants should have a Level 2 Early Years qualification, experience in a nursery, safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication skills,

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and participate in engaging, child-led learning experiences.
• Make full use of the nursery's extensive outdoor spaces to support children's development.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through play and exploration.
• Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times.
