Job summary

Nala Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming nursery in Canwick to recruit a Nursery Practitioner. You will provide high-quality care and education, helping children develop in a safe and stimulating setting. A Level 2/3 Early Years qualification is required, with nursery experience preferred and a positive, communicative approach.

We offer a competitive hourly rate up to £13.30, full-time hours, and ongoing support for development and progression within a caring team.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification Level 2 or 3 required.
• Previous nursery/EY setting experience beneficial.
• Strong communication and observational skills.

Location: Canwick, Lincoln

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
• Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
