Job summary

Nala Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for a welcoming Beeston nursery near Nottingham. The role involves providing high-quality care and educational support to young children, in a safe, stimulating environment.

Hours are full-time (40hr per week) or part-time (24hr per week), all year round, with a permanent contract and ASAP start. Salary up to £13.30 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 is desirable or required depending on the role.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is beneficial.

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children’s interests and development
• Observing and recording children’s progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children’s health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery’s policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You
