Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming nursery in Canwick, Lincoln. This full-time, permanent role offers £13.75 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications, and the chance to support young children in a safe, stimulating environment.

You will provide high-quality care, support early learning, observe progress and contribute to individual learning journeys, and work closely with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a caring, patient and approachable early years professional.
• Level 3 EYEC qualification is required.
• Experience in nursery or Early Years setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Salary: £13.75 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated Early Years professional who is passionate about supporting young children and helping them develop, learn and thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.
