Job summary

Nala Global Ltd is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for lunch cover in Canwick, Lincoln. The role is part-time, 11:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a permanent contract and an ASAP start date.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and education, support development through engaging activities, and work as part of a welcoming nursery team under supervision of Nala Recruitment.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education and Childcare is required.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting would be beneficial.

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour dependent on experience and qualifications

Hours: Mon- Fri, 15 hours p/week (11am - 2pm)

Contract: Permanent

Nala Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and supportive nursery setting who are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a part-time basis.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care and education for children, supporting their development through engaging activities and positive interactions.

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
• Supporting children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities based around children's interests and development
• Observing and recording children's progress and contributing to their individual learning journeys
• Ensuring children's health, safety and wellbeing are maintained at all times
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Working effectively as part of a wider nursery team
• Following the nursery's policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements
• Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
