Job summary

Nara Horton Nursery is seeking a dedicated early years practitioner to join our team. You will plan activities, observe progress and provide personal care using the Storal curriculum to support each child’s development.

Join a warm, nurturing environment where safeguarding is a priority and teamwork drives learning through play-based experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily to children.
• Bond with children and their families through meaningful moments.
• Deliver high levels of care and empathy, treating every opportunity as a learning one.

Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £13.70 per hour based on experience and qualifications

Qualified - Must hold a level 2 or above in Childcare

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
