Job summary

Flourish Education is working with a friendly Primary School in Atherstone to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner for their Nursery team. You will support children across the Nursery, including 1:1 support for those with additional needs, and help with group activities and continuous provision.

You will work within the EYFS framework, collaborate with the Nursery team, promote positive behaviour and safeguarding, and contribute to a nurturing environment for early learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification – essential.
• UK-recognised EY qualification (e.g., EY Educator, CACHE, NVQ Childcare).
• Experience in UK schools with Nursery/EY-aged children.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Support engaging activities and continuous provision.
• Work with the Class Teacher and EY team.
• Promote positive behaviour, independence and communication.
• Support safeguarding and create a safe, inclusive environment.
