Job summary

Oakfields Preparatory School is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant Practitioner to join the Early Years team, supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities for children aged 2-5 in line with the EYFS framework.

You will build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues, uphold safeguarding standards and contribute to a nurturing environment that helps every child thrive and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification required.
• Experience with EYFS and children aged 2-5 essential.
• First Aid qualification desirable; must be completed if appointed.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a professional Early Years team (ages 2-5).
• Support the Nursery Supervisor and colleagues daily.
• Uphold safeguarding and welfare procedures at all times.
• Participate in training and planning.
• Prepare and lead age-appropriate activities.
• Support outdoor play and independent learning.
