Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an EYFS practitioner/support worker to join the school’s EYFS unit in Atherstone, working every afternoon from 2:30pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, through to half term. You will contribute to creating a nurturing, stimulating environment and support children’s development and wellbeing.

Role requires enhanced DBS, Level 3 EYFS qualification, safeguarding and allergy training, EYFS knowledge, and references from the last 2 years.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS on the updated service
• Minimum level 3 EYFS qualification
• Up-to-date safeguarding and allergy training
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• References covering the last 2 years of employment

Responsibilities

• Support children within the EYFS unit during the afternoon session.
• Work alongside the class teacher and EYFS team to support learning and development.
• Help children engage with activities, play and learning opportunities.
• Provide encouragement and positive interaction to help children develop confidence and independence.
• Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
• Maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment.
• Assist with classroom routines and organisation.
• Support individual children's needs where required.

CALLING ALL EYFS PROFESSIONALS

We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS practitioner/support worker to join the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit at a welcoming school in Atherstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their early development, learning and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will work every afternoon from 2:30pm until 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, through to half term, working as part of the school's EYFS team. You will play an important role in supporting the children during the afternoon session, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and supported.

WHAT WOULD THIS ROLE INVOLVE?

• Supporting children within the EYFS unit during the afternoon session.
• Working alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team to support children's learning and development.
