Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner for a full-time role in the Stourbridge area. You will support children aged 2–3 with play-based activities, promote developmental milestones, and work within a caring, inclusive team.

You will assist with personal care, monitor progress, and adapt activities for low-level SEN needs. A Level 2+ Early Years qualification and prior nursery experience are essential, with a commitment through the academic year.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above).
• Experience in an early years or nursery setting.
• Experience providing personal care.
• Availability for full-time work from after the Easter break through to the end of the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 2–3 years with learning through structured and play-based activities.
• Supervise and engage children during outdoor play, promoting exploration and physical development.
• Provide personal care in a respectful and supportive manner.
• Support children with low-level SEN needs, adapting activities as necessary.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating environment.
• Observe, monitor, and contribute to children’s developmental progress.
