TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a welcoming nursery in Huddersfield. The role is long-term, part-time with an immediate start, and you will help support children's learning and development.

The candidate should have at least 6 months' nursery experience, EYFS knowledge, and a caring, reliable attitude to provide a safe, engaging environment for children.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.

Salary: £12.17 - £14.75 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in Huddersfield who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant. The nursery has a small, welcoming team who are committed to providing a positive and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with their learning and development while helping to provide a safe, engaging and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring and nurturing approach
• Confidence supporting engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable and adaptable attitude
