Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant in Trafford to support children aged 6 months to 4 years. You will help with play-based learning, create engaging activities and maintain a calm, welcoming environment. These nurturing environments are passionate about learning through play, creating exciting, stimulating experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and confidence while supporting every child to reach their full potential.

The nurseries are looking for enthusiastic Nursery Assistants to join their teams on a temporary basis, supporting children aged 6 months to 4 years. As a Nursery Assistant, you will be a positive role model who helps children feel safe, valued and eager to learn. You will confidently manage small groups, encourage positive behaviour, and create engaging play-based activities that develop children's communication, social, cognitive and motor skills. SEND experience is desirable but not essential, as full support and guidance will be provided for the right Nursery Assistant with the right attitude and passion.
