Yorkshire and Humber/ contract / £11.20 - 13.60 per hour

TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with several nurseries in Huddersfield, helping them fill both full-time and part-time roles. The nurseries care for children aged between 6 months to 5 years, supporting them throughout their development journey and encouraging them to grow their independence. The nurseries provide safe and secure environments for the children to settle into, working closely with the parents to ensure each child’s needs are met, and they are given every opportunity to grow and develop new skills.

TeacherActive is currently recruiting several Nursery Assistants to fill a variety of roles in Huddersfield. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years / Educational setting. The successful Nursery Assistants will be passionate about helping children learn and develop, and will be confident working with children of all ages.

• Be confident working both independently and with others as a team
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS, and current Safeguarding & Child Protection laws and policies
• Be hardworking, reliable and passionate about helping children learn and develop.
