Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant in Wakefield area for immediate start on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will support children across the nursery with daily routines, helping them learn through play and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for every child.

We are seeking a candidate with at least six months of childcare experience and knowledge of EYFS, who is caring, enthusiastic and a strong team player with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a childcare setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Caring, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Willingness to support across different age groups where required.

We are looking to appoint Nursery Assistants on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across the nursery's assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A minimum of six months' experience working within a childcare setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• A willingness to support across different age groups where required
