Job summary

TeacherActive is helping a Knaresborough-based nursery recruit a part-time Nursery Assistant to support children with learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, engaging Early Years setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with young children in nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS.
• A Level 2 or 3 EY qualification desirable.

Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Salary: £13.50 - £14.75 per hour

Are you looking for a part-time Nursery Assistant role within a friendly and supportive team?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery based in Knaresborough. The setting has a friendly team who are committed to providing a positive and supportive environment for the children in their care.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children with their learning, development and wellbeing, while helping the team to maintain a safe and engaging Early Years environment.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is desirable
• Experience working with children in an Early Years or nursery setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
• The ability to work effectively as part of a friendly team
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
