Job summary

Contracts Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer (Nuclear) for a 2-year contract in Gwynedd, Wales. This onsite role requires leading construction activities with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance, including CDM-related responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds SMSTS/NEBOSH Construction and a strong civil engineering background, with experience in heavy lifting, works at height, and demolition. A proactive, detail‑oriented leader will deliver safe, compliant project outcomes.

Qualifications

• CITB SMSTS or NEBOSH Construction Certificate is required.
• Experience managing or supervising construction activities (working at height, temporary works, heavy lifting).
• Thorough understanding of local procedures, rules, and company instructions.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement through best practice and learning.
• Review and accept method statements, safe systems of work, and all relevant documentation with diligence.
• Demonstrate flexibility and support others while adapting to changing demands, promoting safety and planning.
