Job summary

Ledwood are recruiting an experienced Construction Field Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C. The role focuses on providing practical construction input during contract execution for installing large power plant equipment.

The position requires strong coordination with area Superintendents, review of technical documentation, and development of safe, efficient work methods. On-site working hours are long with a 10/4 rotation and project through 2029.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in engineering or construction.
• Experience with construction input during contract execution.
• Ability to review engineering docs for contract compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and liaise with area Superintendents and Supervisors on daily work allocations.
• Produce Risk Assessed Method Statements for installation and erection.
• Ensure hazards and risks are considered by designers and contractors.
• Review engineering documentation for contract compliance.
• Suggest improvements to project execution methods and processes.
• Maintain communication with PM team and client to release drawings.
