Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a Nuclear Asbestos Consultant for Anglesey, North Wales, on a contractor basis. The role offers 275-280 p/d plus lodge and travel allowance, with a 4-day working week of 07:25–17:25 and usual site logistics arranged by the client.

You will perform bulk sampling, airborne fibre monitoring, provide high level consultancy on asbestos in estates, and manage large-scale projects at a decommissioning nuclear plant under an internationally critical programme.

Qualifications

• P403 and P404 certificates are required.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in Industrial sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Bulk sampling and assessments.
• Airborne fibre monitoring, fibre counting and background checks.
• High level consultancy, client advice on managing asbestos in estates and properties.
• Trouble shooting large scale asbestos jobs in complex industrial environments.
• Project management experience with ability to generate additional work and build client relationships.
• Support role to the regional operations manager and guidance to surveyors/analysts.
