Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major low-carbon power project in North Wales. You will support inspection and delivery of civil and structural works with the site delivery team, ensuring activities are safe, accurate and in line with project specifications.

The initial scope covers access structures such as handrails, stairs and ladders and requires a straightforward inspection and reporting process.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site or Setting Out Engineer on industrial projects.
• Knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles.
• CSCS Card essential; safety training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and support the delivery of access structures, including handrails, stairs, and ladders.
• Review technical drawings and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors.
• Complete site inspections, reports, and maintain accurate project records.
• Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Inspect and support the delivery of access structures, including handrails, stairs, and ladders.
• Review technical drawings and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Coordinate with site management and subcontractors.
• Complete site inspections, reports, and maintain accurate project records.
• Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site or Setting Out Engineer on power, energy, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong civil, structural engineering background.
• Experience on COMAH or regulated sites is desirable.
• CSCS Card essential.
• SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Space training are advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major UK energy infrastructure project on a contract basis.
