Job summary

Roc Search Europe Limited is seeking an experienced Site Inspection Engineer on a contract basis for a major UK energy infrastructure project. The role involves inspecting access structures and supporting delivery on site, with a portion of work conducted remotely or off-site.

You'll review drawings, coordinate with site management and subcontractors, and produce inspections and reports that document compliance with safety and project specs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site or Setting Out Engineer on heavy industrial projects.
• Strong civil/structural engineering background.
• CCNSG Safety Passport is essential.
• CSCS Card is essential.
• SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Space training advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major low-carbon power generation project in North Wales.

Working with the site delivery team, you'll support the inspection and delivery of civil and structural works, ensuring all activities are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications. The initial scope will focus on access structures, including handrails, stairs, and ladders, with a straightforward inspection and reporting process.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site or Setting Out Engineer on power, energy, petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects.
• Strong civil / structural engineering background.
• Experience on COMAH or regulated sites is desirable.
• CCNSG Safety Passport is essential.
• CSCS Card.
• SSSTS/SMSTS and Confined Space training are advantageous.
