Mitie Group plc. seeks an experienced Nuclear Security Shift Manager to lead security delivery in a highly regulated environment. You will oversee shift operations, ensure regulatory compliance and drive a culture of excellence across security teams.

The role requires strong leadership, awareness of nuclear safety expectations, and the ability to coach staff while maintaining high standards of service. A 56-hour weekly pattern and 12-hour shifts are part of the schedule.

Competenze

• Experience in protective security, security operations, supervision or operational management.
• Ability to lead operational teams and support Supervisors.
• Strong understanding of site processes, Assignment Instructions and operational requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with the workforce.
• Ability to set direction, reinforce standards and hold others to account.
• Ability to foster a positive safety culture.
• Understanding of nuclear safety expectations and security requirements.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of security protocols.
• IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
• Ability to allocate resources and solve problems.
• Investigatory and report writing skills.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain minimum SC security clearance.
