Job summary

EDF Energy's Nuclear Services division seeks a Head of Nuclear Security to lead the security function across our fleet and new-build projects. Based at Gloucester Business Park, you will drive strategy, assurance and governance while collaborating with regulators, government bodies and internal stakeholders.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, deliver against site licence and regulatory requirements, and shape security programmes in an agile, highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and inspire security teams across functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with regulators and government bodies.
• Executive-level interaction with senior leaders across sites and programmes.
• Delivery experience in agile environments within a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of relevant security legislation and high-risk operations.
• Experience developing organisation-wide security strategies and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Nuclear Security team across Nuclear Services.
• Deliver on strategic priorities and site licence requirements.
• Provide security oversight and assurance for operations and projects.
• Build relationships with regulators, government bodies and senior stakeholders.
