Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an Associate Director to lead the delivery of complex nuclear safety cases in the UK, coordinating engineering, safety assurance and compliance across high-stakes projects.

The role combines technical leadership with business development, client engagement and opportunities for career progression within a safety-critical environment. Hybrid working is available across multiple UK sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
• Significant nuclear sector experience with leadership of complex safety projects.
• Chartered status, or progression towards it, is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex safety case assessments across defence, decommissioning and energy projects.
• Engage regulators and clients to present technical arguments and secure approvals.
• Review and write technical reports and safety documentation.
• Mentor and line-manage consultants to build technical capability and delivery discipline.
