Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Growth Director - Client & Contractor Partnerships to drive growth across Transport sectors in UK&I. You will shape the sales strategy, build deep client relationships, and secure strategic partnerships with contractors to deliver sustainable expansion.

The role requires extensive business development and market insight, with a track record in revenue growth, partnerships, and leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in business development and work winning.
• Minimum 15+ years in business development or growth strategy, leadership roles.
• Proven track record of revenue generation, position development and leading strategic partnerships.
• Deep knowledge of the Transportation market in UK&I, especially Rail.
• Strong network within the Transportation Sector in UK&I with Rail Clients and Tier 1/2 contractors.
• Experience with public sector procurement including framework agreements.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate at all organisational levels.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with a focus on driving results.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long term relationships with clients across the Transportation market.
• Develop client understanding to support strategic partnerships.
• Support clients in developing long-term transport solutions that align with outcomes.
• Position AECOM to influence client thinking and act as a market thought leader.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Strategy & Growth, Market Sectors, Practices, and Marcomms teams to ensure feasible client solutions.
