Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive CNC machine tool sales across the Northwest. The role involves developing new business opportunities and managing key customer accounts within manufacturing and engineering sectors.

You will promote CNC solutions, build relationships, visit sites, and guide projects from enquiry through order, while collaborating with technical, service and admin teams to ensure successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven field-based sales experience in CNC or capital equipment.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining environments.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Northwest.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts with manufacturers and engineers.
• Conduct site visits to assess production processes and tool needs.
• Prepare quotations and proposals aligned to customer specs.
• Manage full sales cycle from enquiry to order placement.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts and activity pipelines.
• Meet and report on sales targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project delivery and satisfaction.
