Job summary

Transport Friendly Society Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to strengthen our presence across the North. This is a hands-on B2C sales role focusing on meeting prospective and existing members, understanding their needs and delivering sustainable sales.

You will build relationships with transport employers, secure access to workplaces and manage one Manchester-based Development Manager, with Yorkshire or nearby as base to cover the North.

Qualifications

• Field-based B2C sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Experience developing and managing sales territories.
• Ability to coach or manage a colleague while remaining active in sales.

Responsibilities

• Deliver B2C sales and meet individual targets.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and members.
• Develop new areas and rebuild activity where presence is reduced.
• Secure access to transport workplaces and employee channels.
• Manage territory, leads, appointments, applications and follow-up.
• Coach and support one Development Manager while maintaining own sales activity.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and regional opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales and pipeline information.
