A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Non Medical Prescriber to support young people with Autism and ADHD within the neurodevelopmental pathway. The role involves assessments, independent prescribing, and managing ADHD clinics, with a focus on delivering high-quality care. A Nursing Qualification and experience in CAMHS are essential. This position offers a collaborative work environment and entails responsibilities like mentoring and safeguarding. High Cost Area Supplement applies depending on location.

The post holder will be based within the neurodevelopmental pathway, supporting young people with Autism and ADHD. This will include involvement in weekly neurodevelopmental assessment clinics, offering further specialist assessment if required, completing written reports and offering further advice and support/signposting information.
The postholder will work autonomously and with support from the consultant to undertake ADHD prescribing duties and manage ADHD clinics.
The post holder will be responsible for completing risk assessments of the young people who they review and responding to risk appropriately, including safeguarding risks. They will work alongside the CAMHS team, and also other agencies to meet the needs of this client group. They will be responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing care plans.

NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will also have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend several drop‑in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 p.a. pro rata for part time).

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
