Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a Construction Associate in Bristol with 2-6 years’ PQE to join its leading non-contentious construction team. The role offers exposure to major national infrastructure and development projects and a clear path to develop specialist expertise.

You will manage and support a varied caseload, drafting and negotiating contracts, and working closely with energy and infrastructure clients while contributing to business growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience in non-contentious construction.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Versatile across project types and sectors.
• Interest in energy, renewables, infrastructure or UK development work.
• Strong project management and ability to handle complex matters.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Advise on UK infrastructure projects across energy, renewables, social infrastructure, regeneration and commercial development.
• Draft and negotiate complex construction contracts.
• Provide procurement advice and legal project management support.
• Work closely with contentious construction, major projects, energy, real estate, banking and project finance teams.
• Manage matters across commercial, residential, mixed use, logistics and industrial sectors.
• Contribute to business development and sector initiatives.
