Job summary

Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Non-contentious Construction Associate in Bristol. You will work on major development and regeneration schemes, advising on construction contracts, development agreements and due diligence for significant real estate transactions.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years' PQE and strong drafting, communication and client advisory skills, with a collaborative, independent work style. Hybrid working with three days in the office is offered along with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' PQE at a leading international, national or strong regional firm.
• Solid non-contentious construction experience within the development sector.
• Strong drafting skills, excellent communication and the confidence to advise clients clearly and pragmatically.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate construction contracts, including JCT amendments.
• Draft professional appointments and warranties.
• Advise on development agreements and due diligence for significant real estate transactions.
• Support clients in managing construction risk and navigating legislative change.
• Ensure projects meet commercial, technical and sustainability objectives.
