Team Overview

You'll be joining a market‑leading construction practice with a reputation for combining deep sector knowledge with genuinely practical, commercially focused advice. Many of the lawyers have hands‑on industry backgrounds and regularly work on site, giving the team a unique edge in delivering solutions that work in the real world.

The team is at the forefront of major industry trends, including:

  • Office retrofit and "brown to green" projects
  • Innovative procurement and first‑of‑its‑kind project models

  • Negotiate and draft construction contracts (including JCT amendments)
  • Prepare and negotiate professional appointments and warranties
  • Deliver construction due diligence on major real estate transactions
  • Support the negotiation of development agreements
  • Guide clients through evolving legislation, including the building safety regime
  • Help clients manage risk while achieving commercial, regulatory and sustainability goals

You’ll work with a diverse client base – developers, funders, asset managers, contractors and end users – and play a key role throughout the full lifecycle of development and regeneration projects.

Candidate Requirements

This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and ready to take the next step. You will bring:
