Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks to keep the nation's infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate incident updates to customers.
• Coordinate with utility companies for power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
