Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, working closely with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and protection 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will support the NOC engineering team administratively, ensuring incidents are resolved per procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:
  1. Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Organize traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who you are:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
