Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical tasks to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Assign tickets to support and engineering teams and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management activities with providers and regional teams.
7. Communicate incident updates to customers.
8. Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution experience.
• Strong communication skills for liaising across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
