Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work, helping to maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  3. Action Service Requests.
  4. Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  6. Coordinate traffic management, liaising with traffic providers, regional control, and field resources.
  7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  8. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Who You Are:

Experienced in supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
